In Belgrade, as every year in the organisation of the Slovenian Business Club, an old Slovenian holiday dedicated to young wine – Martinovanje is celebrated, which is most celebrated in Slovenia by all the wine holidays.
The event, marked with a cultural and entertainment program and a rich gastronomic offer, was attended by numerous officials. “Our socialising contributes to the fact that the Serbs go to Slovenia more and Slovenes to Serbia, thus increasing the number of tourists from year to year. Through this cooperation there are jobs for all of us” were the greeting words of the Speaker of the SPK, Ms. Daniela Fišakov. The act of baptising a young wine was attended by Ms. Diana Baša, a somaliser and head of TIC Nova Gorica, who first tasted as an expert and estimated that the wine was sufficiently mature, Mr. Matej Arčon, Mayor of Nova Gorica, who presented the beauties of this region to all present with young wine, Speaker of the SPK Danijela Fišakov and Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Serbia, H. E. Vladimir Gasparic, who greeted all guests.
