Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Sinisa Mali, today spoke in Belgrade with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Delegation, led by James Rouf.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Finance, the current economic and financial developments in the Republic of Serbia, structural reforms, economic results, as well as projections of macroeconomic indicators for this and the following year were discussed. Topics of discussion were public sector wages and salaries, a new reform of public sector wages, then the reform of the Tax Administration, the status of capital investments in infrastructure and their increase in 2019. Mali and Rouf, among other things, discussed a package of stimulating measures aimed at the economy and planned in terms of reducing the burden on wages, and whose implementation would begin in 2019.
