Mobi Banka redirected the money allocated for internal New Year’s celebration to charity. The funds will be donated to NURDOR, national association of parents of children with cancer, which comprises parents, doctors, medical staff and all people of good will.
“This difficult and challenging year taught us that solidarity, support and togetherness are the pillars of every society. We incorporate the idea of humane banking in creating our services and we always start from the people. We consider it our responsibility to help those who need it the most, and to help the society that is responsible for our business successes”, said Marija Popović, the President of Mobi Banka’s Executive Board.
The donation was made within the “Be a Hero” project that NURDOR used to prepare New Year’s gifts that can be ordered through their website.
Holidays are the right time to share with each other and understand that there is no better collective immunity for a society than togetherness
“We would like to show everyone that it is not hard to #beahero. Children teach us that the best, and children who are fighting malignant diseases are already true little superheroes. Everyday, they have to go through what all of us partially had to experience this year. And every day, they show us that superhero deeds need love and support. Holidays are the right time to share with each other and understand that there is no better collective immunity for a society than togetherness”, said Tamara Klarić, NURDOR activist.
Mobi Banka is proud of its long-standing cooperation with NURDOR. We remind you that in 2019, Mobi Banka donated one million dinars to help build a new parents’ house in Belgrade within the “Take a Step” campaign, which will provide accommodation and care for twenty families whose children are going through the long cancer treatment process.
