Visitors of this year’s “Belgrade Winters” for the first time have the opportunity to enjoy in the capital city an ecological mural of used cans. Specially designed for this occasion, Pixelata once again best combines art and recycling. This time, the symbols of Belgrade, the Temple of St. Sava and the monument to Prince Mihailo, are motifs of installations of 6 meters long.
“We are pleased that Pixelata is now in front of Belgraders and visitors to the capital. The festive atmosphere and the time when we want the closest to the best we only have the best and the great time for the desire to recycle more in 2019 and to further expand the awareness about the importance of recycling. This mural contributes to the recycling of cans in a creative way and reminds why the drinking can is among the best packaging – it is light, non-insoluble and can be recycled countless times, “said Nemanja Komatović, from the recount of the Fund.
The Belgrade Pixelata is set up in the “Trg otvorenog srca”, in a warm corner, and will be preceded by visitors until the end of “Belgrade Winters”. This ecological mural is another co-operation of the recan Fund and their campaign “I’m Being Recycled” with the Belgrade Cultural Network, whose goal is for everyone to understand the full importance of environmental protection.
