The National Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Austria signed a Cooperation Agreement in Vienna. The purpose of this Agreement is to improve relations between the two countries and to establish a framework for sustainable and dynamic cooperation in public professional training activities. The agreement was signed by Dražen Maravić, Director of the National Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia and Klaus Hartman, Director of the Federal Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Austria
The main goals of the agreed cooperation are improvement of work and professional capacities in public administration, exchange of good practice, realization of joint programs of professional development, as well as exchange of civil servants for professional development and reciprocal stay.
“This agreement was created as a result of a mutual desire to establish and develop cooperative and mutually beneficial relations, bearing in mind the importance of continuous professional development for the development and improvement of human resources in public administration. In addition to the friendly relations that our two institutions have, I am very happy that now we will be able to share our experiences and knowledge, and in that way we will additionally influence the professional development of civil servants, “said Dražen Maravić, director of the National Academy of Public Administration.
The National Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Serbia is already successfully cooperating with the National School of Public Administration of the Republic of France (ENA), and in the coming period the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation with the Republic of Srpska and other countries is also planned.
The National Academy of Public Administration is the central institution of the system of professional development in the public administration of the Republic of Serbia, which was established with the aim of improving the competences of the employees in the public administration, necessary for quality work. The implementation of training programs with the use of modern forms and methods of professional development ensures continuous improvement of the quality of services provided by public administration to citizens and businesses.
