IKEA South East Europe announces that Sara Del Fabbro has become the company’s new CEO for the region.
Sara will report to Belen Frau, Ingka Group’s Global Deputy Retail Operations Manager based in Malmo, Sweden.
Sara has a long track record with IKEA, beginning in 1999 in Bologna Store and Service Office where she held different senior roles. In 2014 she became Deputy Store Manager in Torino Store and two years later took the helm of Milano San Giuliano Store. In September 2017 Sara became Deputy CEO for IKEA Italy.
With its new leadership, IKEA South East Europe remains fully committed to continuing successful operations and ambitious expansion agenda, including new formats that will allow us to be even closer to our customers in Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine. Stefan Vanoverbeke, IKEA’s previous CEO in the region, took on a new challenge within the company in April this year when he became Ingka Group’s Global Deputy Retail Operations Manager for ten international markets.
