Bosnia and Herzegovina has been hit by the worst floods in several decades. Torrential rains have caused rivers to overflow and flash floods to sweep everything in their path. The areas most affected include the regions around the cities of Tarčin, Kiseljak, Kreševo, Jablanica, and Konjic.
The floods have destroyed bridges and rendered many roads impassable, while numerous homes have been completely demolished. Thousands of people have been left homeless, and according to the latest reports, at least 20 people have lost their lives.
In these difficult times, citizens of Serbia and the world can help those affected by making donations via the “Balkan Donira” platform. The funds collected will be used to purchase food, medicine, clothing, and other essential supplies.
“Novosadski Oktoberfest” urges its visitors and all fellow citizens to join the campaign.
