The Hellenic Petroleum Group, comprised of EKO Serbia, its employees, its partners, shareholders and the management of the company, express full support and sympathy with all those affected by the catastrophic fires that hit the area of Attica in Greece.
The company has expressed its willingness to help adequately in order to mitigate the effects of the fire and is in contact with the authorities in order to undertake activities to assist victims. For these purposes, the Hellenic Petroleum Group has allocated a million euros, and EKO pumps in Greece will provide the necessary fuel with the desire to be joined by other companies in order to help the vulnerable population get help and as soon as possible to deal with the consequences of the fire. The Hellenic Petroleum Group delegation visited Megara and met with Mayor Grigoris Stamoulis. At the request of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, the Hellenic Petroleum Group financed aerial surveillance of areas that were destroyed in a fire in order to provide competent authorities and services with all the necessary information for mapping, assessing the consequences of the fire and organizing victim assistance.
