The most famous Serbian fashion designer, Bata Spasojević, was presented with a prestigious international award on the occasion of 30 years of successful work at the International Fashion Connection, which was held in Sofia
Bata Spasojević, with his brand Individual, which pushed all boundaries, has received an award for a world-renowned and recognized career. The reward was given to him by the Ambassador of Serbia to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Željko Jović and by the president of the International Fashion Connection, Mila Zaharieva, on behalf of International Fashion in Dubai.
The prestigious fashion event was organized as part of the Balkan Open Door project, where Bata Spasojević presented to the audience the expanded collection for spring/summer called “Art Must Go On”, which the audience recently had the opportunity to see for the first time in Belgrade.
The phenomenal audience, as well as the guests in the capital of Serbia, were not left indifferent by the pieces made of the finest materials with Bata’s distinctive seal. Even the director of the famous Bulgarian fashion channel “Code Fashion TV”, Maria Boneva, briefly said that ” in recent times there hasn’t been a better collection shown in Sofia and beyond “.
Bata Spasojević said that it is a great honor for him to be able to connect the people and nations of the Balkans, and even further than that, through fashion and beauty.
“This is my contribution for the future, for our better common tomorrow. My vision of fashion, but also of the future, carries a message of peace and understanding. First of all in our own region, but all over the globe as well”, said Bata Spasojević.
