Books of the “Revolt and Hope Network” and “The Crossroads of the Networked Society” by Manuel Castells, one of the most highly-qualified sociologists of today and the most influential communication theorists, information society and globalization, were presented today at the Belgrade Book Fair.
Slavisa Orlovic, executive producer and art director of the UK “Parobrod” Zlatko Crnogorac, and military-political analyst Vlada Radulovic, were moderated by Robert Coban, director of the Color Press Group, on the new editions of the Official Gazette.
The “Crossroads of Networked Network” is Castell’s book from an innovative trilogy that deals with the economic and social trends of the informational age and shows how the networked society has fully grown globally.
The book discusses the impact of the information age on all aspects of society, includes an analysis of the impact of the Internet and net-economy, describes the accelerating pace of innovation and social transformation.
