Citizens Association, The Best Fest from Novi Sad, implements the project Redefining Boundaries: Disabled Icons and Their Global Influence, co-financed by the European Delegation in the Republic of Serbia
The project deals with creating conditions for the social inclusion of people with special needs through activities that promote the achievements and abilities of people with disabilities through a series of exhibitions, awareness campaigns, and training initiatives in Serbian cities.
The plan is to implement activity projects in four cities: Požarevac, Šabac, and Indjija. The project’s first event and ceremonial opening was held in Novi Sad on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
The accompanying project activity accompanying the exhibition is the organization of a panel discussion on the inclusion of persons with disabilities, which will be attended by experts from this field and associations for which this is a priority topic. After that, an exhibition of photos of famous people with disabilities from around the world will be opened, which does not prevent them from achieving exceptional results in their fields of activity.
After the panel discussion in the Museum of Vojvodina, the exhibition opened in the Danube Park.
