Vadim Rudenko, Russian pianist will perform in Belgrade on June 8th, at Kolarac Hall at 8.00 PM.
Vadim Rudenko born in Krasnodar in a non-musical family, started to play the piano at the age of 4. When he was only 7 years old, he gave his first concert. In 1975 he entered the Central Musical School in Moscow and already in 1982 won the international competition “Concertino Prague”. His teachers were Anna Artobolevskaya, Vadim Sukhanov and Dmitry Bashkirov.
He studied at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Sergei Dorensky, and obtained a master’s degree from the same Conservatory. During this period, the young pianist received prizes in such competitions as: Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition (Belgium), Paloma O’Shea Piano Competition in Santander (Spain), the International G.B. Viotti Competition in Vercelli (Italy). In the P. Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition, he was awarded 3rd prize in 1994 and 2nd prize in 1998.
Since that time Rudenko has been touring extensively and giving concerts in Russia and abroad with the most famous orchestras, such as the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra, St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, The National Orchestra of Russia, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Concertgebouw Orkest, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Orchester der Beethovenhalle Bonn, Wiener Kammerorchester, Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, Orchestre National de Belgique, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI Torino, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Lyon, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Japan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and others. He has performed under Vladimir Fedoseyev, Evgeny Svetlanov, Yury Temirkanov, Mark Gorinstein, Alexander Vedernikov, Saulus Sondetskis, Dmitry Liss, Vasily Sinaisky, Marek Janowski, Veronika Dudarova, Eri Klaas, Sergiu Comissiona, Arnold Katz, Philipp Entremont and many others.
The artist gives concerts in Europe, USA, Canada, South America, Asia in such concert halls as: Tonhalle (Zurich), Suntori Hall (Tokyo), Auditoria Nacional (Madrid), Osaka Symphony Hall (Osaka), Palais des Beaux Arts (Brussels), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Rudolfinum (Prague), Mozarteum (Salzburg), the Great Hall of St Petersburg Philharmonic, Gasteig and Herkules Saal (Munich), Sala Sao Paolo (Sao Paolo), Salle Gaveau and Theatre du Chatelet ( Paris), and many others. He has recorded a number of CDs solo as well as with ensembles and orchestras. He has taken part in such international music festivals as: Mozarteum, Carinthischer Sommer (Austria), La Roque d’Antheron (France), Musik Sommer Gstaad Saanenland (Switzerland), the Newport Music Festival (USA), Klavier-Festival Ruhr (Germany), etc.
Since 2016 he has been teaching at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory.
