Saša Marković appointed as the new General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro

Saša Marković has been appointed as the new General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro. He joins Serbia and Montenegro Business Unit from the position of General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, where he achieved significant business results and contributed to the continued growth in the market.

Marković will succeed, Svetoslav Atanasov who takes over a new role within the Coca-Cola HBC.

Saša Marković joined Coca-Cola HBC in 2020, where, as the Sales director for Serbia and Montenegro, he successfully led Sales team and contributed to achieving a record business recovery following global pandemic. For 2022 record high achievements Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro Business Unit was awarded the most prestigious award of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group – Andrew David.

Throughout his professional career, Saša Marković has gained extensive international experience by taking on key positions in strategic planning, marketing, and sales. However, his dedication to leading teams has been a key to success in companies he used to work for.

The former General Manager, Svetoslav Atanasov, successfully led Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro over the past six years, achieving outstanding business results, including two major acquisitions in Serbian market – opening of “Rosa Homolje” sparkling water bottling plant and acquisition of the leading domestic snacks company “Bambi”. In his new role, Atanasov will serve as the General Manager  for Greece and Cyprus.

Today, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro employs around 1,600 workers, cooperates with more than 37,000 customers, and about 1,700 suppliers, creating significant economic value for the domestic economy. Besides excellent business results, the company is also recognized as one of the leaders in sustainability.
