S-Leasing company has celebrated 15 years of business in Serbia, presenting the results as well as the newest trends in the leasing markets in Serbia, Austria and Romania. As one of the leaders in the market of passenger vehicles in Serbia, S-Leasing has signed approximately 24.000 contracts and financed the leasing objects with the total value of over 700 million euros for more than 12.000 clients in the past decade and a half. Last year has been one of the most successful ones since the company was founded, with the recorded growth of approximately 30 per cent.
When it comes to objects of leasing, S-Leasing has mostly financed passenger vehicles (38.5 per cent), commercial vehicles (36 per cent), machines and equipment (25 per cent), and ships (0.71 per cent). The most financed objects in the category of machines and equipment are forklifts, construction mechanization and processing equipment.
“During 2017, the leasing market in Serbia grew by 26%, mostly in the segment of passenger vehicles, which has recorded growth of more than 40%. This growth of leasing market is based on a higher demand for passenger and light commercial vehicles. Another reason for growth is the determination of customers to buy cars through leasing, which has contributed to good financing conditions and increased confidence of customers and car dealers in leasing companies. S-Leasing ended last year with about 50 million euros of new investments,” said Bojan Vracevic, CEO of S-Leasing.
