Slovenian Statehood Day is a holiday celebrated annually on 25 June to commemorate the country’s declaration of independence from Yugoslavia in 1991. On that occasion, the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia to Serbia hosted the reception at the famous Kalemegdanska Terasa restaurant, where many diplomats, government officials, business people, media representatives, and distinguished guests from the cultural and public life of Serbia attended.
