The National Day of the Kingdom of Morocco, the 25th Anniversary of the Enthronement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, was celebrated with numerous guests from the diplomatic corps in Serbia, representatives of the Serbian authorities, the Moroccan community in Serbia, and many friends and guests of the Moroccan Embassy in Belgrade.
His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Serbia, Mr Mohammed Amine Belhaj, who welcomed the guests in the presence of his wife Safae, gave a speech about the successes of the Kingdom of Morocco and the excellent bilateral relations between our two countries.
“This momentous occasion, which symbolizes the Moroccan people’s strong and renewed attachment to the Alawite throne and their unwavering loyalty to their Sovereign, is an opportunity to pay tribute to His Majesty’s visionary leadership and firm commitment to the progress and prosperity of the nation”, stated the ambassador at the beginning of his speech.
“Your very presence in this room today is a testimony to the strong bonds of true friendship, trust and solidarity, which are the principles that have shaped the relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Serbia”, the ambassador emphasized the friendship between Morocco and Serbia.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI delivered, on Monday 29th July 2024, a speech to His faithful people on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the Throne of His glorious Ancestors.
“Today, we are proudly celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of my accession to the throne. During these years, and by the Grace of the Almighty, we have accomplished a great deal in terms of political and institutional reforms and the consolidation of the Moroccan identity.
I have also launched many economic and development projects as well as social programs to achieve social cohesion and enable citizens to have access to basic services. Furthermore, I have sought to consolidate the country’s territorial integrity and enhance Morocco’s standing as an influential player and a responsible, reliable partner at the regional and international levels”, king said.
