Ava shopping park has been visited by more than 2 million people in less than two years, and over 55 domestic and national brands will find their home by the end of the summer
AVA Shopping park has become richer for new members since May 16. The already integrated team was joined by carefully selected national and international brands – for all tastes and all generations – PEPCO, Terranova, Kigili, Watch, Kafeterija, Fly London, Zaspavanje, Eglo, Dr. Max, Premium Pet, Extreme Intimo, Lilly, Barbolini, Bonatti.
The new part of the AVA shopping park was officially opened by IKEA CEO & CSO Ekaterina Egorova, Her Excellency Anika Ben David, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Serbia and Aleksandar Rajčević, IKEA AVA Business Integration Manager.
“Two years after the opening of the first phase of AVA Shopping Park, I am happy to see the completion of this project. With a total investment of 62 million euros, we continued the expansion of the Bubanj potok area, with the support of local economic development. This is a new milestone that IKEA is reaching in Serbia. With a total of 131 million euros since IKEA entered the Serbian market, it strengthens our commitment to stay in Serbia and to continue investing in this market,” said Ekaterina Egorova, regional director of IKEA Southeast Europe.
According to Aleksandar Rajčević, the AVA story began more than two years ago, with the arrival of IKEA in Serbia. “In a very short period of time, we have come a long way to develop the AVA shopping park and position it on the market, in addition to strong competition. And today I can proudly say that in the less than two years that AVA has been in existence, we have managed, all together, to become recognized as a family shopping park, with excellent prices and a great offer. Over 2 million visitors visited us in the previous period, not only from Belgrade, but also from other cities throughout Serbia, achieving over 60 million euros in turnover for our tenants. “We are now joined by 18 new brands, so with this, with a large and unique playground, we will complete the offer of the AVA shopping park by the end of the summer,” said Aleksandar Rajčević.
After the official opening of the new part of the AVA shopping park, a unique garden, which represents a special unit within the park, was ceremonially opened. This garden will soon become a habitat and food supply for many different species of animals and insects. In this way, AVA shopping park, together with IKEA, once again showed that it respects the principles of socially responsible business, that its priorities are raising awareness of biodiversity, especially local, and its promotion.
On the occasion of the opening of new stores, AVA Shopping Park has also prepared a unique entertainment and educational program for all generations, which will last until May 19, with great discounts and promotions.
