The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, presented the project “e-PAPIR – reduction of the administrative burden on the economy”.
Improved business environment was announced by reducing administrative costs by a minimum of 15 to 20 percent by 2021. E-PAPIR is a multi-year project of the Government of the Republic of Serbia aimed at listing, optimizing, making publicly accessible and digitizing all administrative procedures and other business conditions. In the current course of the project, about 2,500 administrative procedures have been enumerated, all procedures are uniquely described, entered into the electronic database, checked, and initial proposals for simplification have been prepared. At the conference, the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia Sam Fabrizi and British Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia Denis Keefe spoke about the importance of such a reform.
