Dritan Abazović, the new Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Montenegro, started his first working day in his new position by holding numerous meetings with the leaders of national and international institutions.
The meeting with Her Excellency, Oana Cristina Popa, the EU Ambassador to Montenegro, was among the first important meetings. On the occasion, Abazović said: “Cooperation with the EU is of special importance. I am honoured to have the first meeting with the Ambassador H.E. Oana Cristina Popa. “

The EU Ambassador to Montenegro, Oana Cristina Popa, also met with Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and said: “I look forward to working with them and the new Montenegrin government on reforms and priorities from the EU agenda” .
Before she took over the position of the EU ambassador to Montenegro, Ms Popa was Romania’s ambassador to Serbia until June. During her tenure, bilateral relations between Serbia and Romania have significantly improved.
