The Hellenic Business Association of Serbia held its Annual General Assembly at Hyatt Regency Belgrade. This event represents the first “live” organized manifestation of the Association, after the outbreak of the pandemic, to the great satisfaction of members.
At the Assembly, the companies-members adopted the financial report for 2020, as well as the report of the Management Board for the period July 2020 – May 2021.
The president of the Management Board, Mr. Stylianos Zakof, presented the most important activities of the Association for the period July 2020 – May 2021. Mr. Zakof also pointed out the following: “In the previous period, we tried to respond to the needs of our members, and respecting the epidemiological measures and decisions of the Serbian government, during this period we did not organize traditional gatherings, but we adapted to a regime of online activities.” He added that most of the organized webinars were on topics related to ways of doing business during the pandemic, including topics linked to accounting, legal and customs issues.
Mr. Zakof also said that the Association will continue to promote cooperation between members, as well as with the wider business community in Serbia, and also present Serbia as a potential investment destination to the Greek authorities and the Greek business community.
A cocktail party, which was organized later in the evening, was a good opportunity for members to strengthen both business and social ties through networking, after a long period of time.
