On Tuesday 16 May 2017, the Slovenian Business Club (SPK) held a panel discussion on the theme “The new investment in the industry.”
The event was organised within the framework of the 61st International Technical Fair. The panel was opened by Danijela Fišakov, President of SPK, and the attendees were addressed by Goran Križ, Economic Counsellor at the Embassy of Slovenia and Aleksandar Kemiveš, director of strategic planning, development and analysis of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Participants in the panel discussion were representatives of successful Slovenian and Serbian companies operating in Serbia. Panelists discussed business conditions in Serbia and what should be done to make Serbia a better business environment. There was talk about whether Serbia follows the trends fast enough, whether it has sufficient qualified personnel, and whether it is open to new investments, both domestic and foreign. The views were in many ways diametrically opposed so it added dose of interesting and interactive feeling to the the panel in the exchange of opinions.
