The ambassador of Brazil to Serbia, His Excellency, Mr José Mauro da Fonseca Costa Couto organized the event on September 10, 2024, on the occasion of the National Day of Brazil.
The ambassador with his spouse Mrs Daniela Vivacqua Mendes Vianna hosted the event in his residency in central Belgrade, welcoming many distinguished guests.
The Sete de Setembro, as the National Day of Brazil is known, is usually celebrated on September 7 of every year. The date celebrates the Declaration of Independence of Brazil from the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and Algarves in 1822.
