The third edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World will be held in Serbia – in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Subotica from November 19 to 25. Among numerous events, seminars will be held on traditional Italian products, lectures and demonstrations of culinary arts of renowned Italian cooks, Italian cuisine workshops, a two-day fair representing high-quality Italian products and especially evening dedicated to Italian cuisine on first class airplanes. In addition, for the duration of two weeks, from November 15, in the Maxi supermarkets in Serbia, which is the main partner of events, Italian products will be promoted. Also, now traditionally, 28 restaurants in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis and Subotica will offer Italian menus especially for their guests.
The opening of the Italian Cuisine Week will take place on November 19 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, where a press conference is being organized, at which a detailed program will be presented.
Italy this year organizes the Third Week of Italian Cuisine in the World with over 1,000 events in its 296 diplomatic and consular missions. The theme of this year’s edition will be “Mediterranean Nutrition” which makes Italy one of the healthiest countries in the world. Italian Embassy in Serbia is organized by the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade in cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC), the Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ICE), the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen (CCIS), the Association of Italian Businessmen in Serbia (Confindustria Serbia) the Consulate of Italy in Subotica and the Cultural Center of Piazza Italia from Subotica, with the support of Serbian and Italian companies.
