The National Day of Ukraine (and the Armed Forces Day) was celebrated in a classy way on the 13th of December in the National Theatre in Belgrade with a ballet performance, which is a combination of classical ballet and modern dance, all with participation and coreography of illustrous Ukrainian ballet dancers, against the musical backdrop of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”.
H.E. Oleksandr Aleksandrovych, the Ambassador of Ukraine held the speech and, unusually, sang the anthems of two countries himself, telling the guests the story of the Ukrainian anthem, followed by a cocktail.
