French cuisine is one of the most appreciated in the world and all consumers who visit the Maxi supermarkets by March 25 will have an opportunity to learn about its tradition and customs.
The Week of French Cuisine has ceremonially been opened by Mr Maxime Reynaud, the First Secretary of the Embassy of France in Serbia, and Mr Dimitrije Stojanović, Vice-President of Operations, Delhaize Serbia.
“Serbia and France have a long-standing tradition related to food. As people in our country enjoy food and are always willing to try different tastes, it is important for us to present to customers tastes of various countries, be the place that fulfills all their wishes and enable them to have a wide choice of high-quality and healthier foods. We constantly improve our offer and expand the portfolio, thus confirming our commitment to our customers and their families,” said on the occasion of the launch of the WEEK OD FRENCH CUISINE on March 19th, Mr Dimitrije Stojanović, Vice-President of Operations, Delhaize Serbia.
On the same day, Nenad Veljković, a popular chef, has prepared famous French specialties and explained to audience why the French enjoy food and why it is important for them to cherish their tradition.
The Week of French Cuisine will include the 4th Tastes of France initiative in which 16 restaurants from Serbia participate among 3300 restaurants from all over the world.
