The IWSC trophy for the best producer of fruit distillates in the world – arrived at Palić
IWSC – Club Oenologique and their judges, in this way, recognized among the fierce competition, awarded the commitment to the highest quality, the company’s approach and communication with customers.
Our famous distillery Podrum Palić 1896 recently won the trophy for the best producer of fruit distillates for 2023. in London, at a prestigious competition organised by the largest and most influential association in the industry, IWSC (International Wine & Spirits Competition).
This is the first time that a distillery from Serbia has received such a prestigious award, which is a great recognition both for our country and for the distillery, which, after only four years of thorough reconstruction and modernisation, has reached the world map with its quality.
The judges were impressed by the product quality but also by the business philosophy, which treats tradition and heritage in the right way – expressed in the company’s slogan Trace of an era and successfully connected them with the modernisation of production and the cycle of expansion, in a fully rounded production process.
Palić Podrum‘s desire and strategy to carefully build and expand its portfolio is recognized by listening to the needs and expectations of consumers, thereby nurturing their loyalty.
That’s why today the portfolio of Podrum Palić 1896 distillery, in addition to the line of premium brandy Baraba, also represents the increasingly popular Sinner dry gin, Vinjak, Cherry Brandy, as well as the bitter liqueurs Gorshtak and Botanic Garden Amaro.
This award is the crown at the end of a successful year in which, a little earlier, the entire portfolio of Baraba premium brandy won a total of 6 medals at the competition, also organized by the IWSC. Baraba Lozovaca won the Outstanding Gold medal with an impressive 99 points, as well as the overall trophy – as the best of the best in its category.
